Many people seek therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, low mood, or unhelpful patterns that leave them feeling disconnected from themselves or others. With 27 years of experience supporting diverse populations, in group homes, residential treatment, and government settings, I bring a compassionate, trauma-informed, and relational approach to care.

I primarily serve women-across the lifespan from adolescence to older adulthood, and individuals who are seeking a relational approach to therapy. My work is grounded in Adlerian psychotherapy-a strengths-based approach. I help you to understand how early experiences, life patterns, and core beliefs continue to shape emotions, relationships, and daily choices. Adlerian therapy emphasizes insight, encouragement, and a sense of belonging—helping you move from feeling stuck to living with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

I integrate evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Trauma-Informed Therapy to support emotional regulation, challenge unhelpful thinking, and build practical coping skills. Together, we focus on understanding why patterns developed, what purpose they once served, and how to choose more helpful ways of living, relating, and responding.

I am deeply committed to culturally responsive care. I have intentionally curated a space where you—especially those from historically marginalized communities—feel seen, respected, and supported. My goal is to provide therapy that is safe enough to be honest and structured enough to be effective.

I’m Kimberly Stubblefield, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), and founder of ZOLA Mental Health. I provide care via telehealth across Minnesota and in person at my office in Blaine.
